New York City officials shut down the eS game of SKATE scheduled to occur at L.E.S. skate park due to the lack of a permit. Although eS officials properly obtained every other permit, the lack of a "sound permit" forced the city to terminate the event. This decision left an estimated 400-500 skateboarders and another 300 spectators ass-out. The funniest part to all this is L.E.S. is located directly under the Manhattan bridge which is used by automobiles and trains. It would have been difficult to hear anyway, so why couldn't they just screw the permit and let the kids skate?
